About the Artist

Hi, I’m Genevieve and I’m an illustrator and printmaker currently residing in the Bay Area of California.

I started Genevieve Inspired two years ago as a passion project to showcase the things that I would make when I was feeling inspired. The overwhelming support and interest in the things I made lead me to open up my online shop.

At the heart of what inspires me would be nature and the outdoors. When I am not inside with my favorite art supplies getting lost in line work, that is where I enjoy being.

I enjoy the mess and challenge of working with traditional materials, as well as getting to work with my hands. Everything you find in my shop was either carved by hand and then pressed, or painted and then scanned to be converted into a digital image. The extra step is worth it for me to get the tactile satisfaction of working with different mediums.

Socially I love to meet other artists and collaborate on community projects. I am always looking to expand my community of individuals wanting to collaborate and participate in appreciating the arts.
